Hrudaya palliative care program is made possible by a collaborative team effort, comprising: 10 skilled nurses, strategically deployed across 6 regions,6 dedicated drivers, Supportive priests, Parish-level coordinators, Selfless volunteers. Through this collective effort, Hrudaya’s team is able to touch the lives of over 1500 families, offering comprehensive care and solace to those requiring it most.
Hrudaya is committed to providing top-notch care to our patients, and to that end, we have assembled a comprehensive suite of medical equipment, including:
– Airbeds for comfort and pressure sore prevention
– Oxygen concentrators and cylinders for respiratory support
– Couches and wheelchairs for mobility and accessibility
– Suction machines for safe and effective suctioning
– Mobile freezers for storing temperature-sensitive medications
– Ambulance facilities for emergency transportation
We proudly offer all of these resources at no cost to our patients, ensuring that they receive the highest quality care, without financial stress or worry.
Every month, Hrudaya generously provides English medicines worth ₹2.5 lakhs (250,000 rupees) absolutely free to indigent patients receiving palliative care. This significant contribution ensures that those in greatest need have access to essential medications, alleviating their suffering and improving their quality of life.
The Hrudaya Hospice Center offers a tranquil and supportive space for patients requiring advanced palliative care. Our dedicated team provides personalized attention and expert treatment to those who need it most, creating a sense of warmth, comfort, and dignity in their lives.
